Wrap Up
Module: What can I do about debt?

Wrap Up

This module described the factors that contribute to America's consumer debt.  It also contributed some ideas on how citizens can take charge of their own finances and have a real affect to the nation's debt consumption.  These ideas can easily be learned and adapted to further our prosperity as a nation.  Create a unique debt reduction strategy that has lasting effects on your finances as well as the nation's.

Think back to how you answered the Initial Thoughts questions:

Can debt be considered good or bad?

What can you do to slow the increase of debt in your family?

How can you influence other's debt decisions?

How can you affect debt consumption nationally?

Have your ideas changed after visiting the resource pages? If so, how? If you are not satisfied with your answers, feel free to visit the Perspectives and Resources section again.

Transcript:
Wow!  It's amazing!  Those were some great ideas.  They really challenged me.  And they were so easy.  I like the idea of how I can impact both locally and nationally.  How I can tell other people about the ability to acquire things without taking on debt.  You don't need credit cards.  You don't need car payments.  It was amazing the different ideas that were out there.  So, the next time I look at buying a house or a car, I think I'm going to be creative in the ways I acquire those items.
